The experience begins with pickup from your hotel between 07:30 and 08:00 hrs. From there, we’ll start our journey to the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Our first stop will be in the charming town of Chinchero, where we’ll visit an artisanal textile center. We’ll learn about traditional weaving and dyeing techniques, made with natural plants and materials used since ancient times.
We’ll continue the tour toward Maras (approximately 40 minutes by road), where we’ll explore the stunning salt mines, consisting of more than 3,000 active pools descending along the mountain, forming a truly unique and breathtaking landscape.
We’ll then head to Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley. Here, we’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of the valley.
After lunch, we’ll visit the famous Seminario Ceramics Workshop, where we’ll admire artistic pieces handmade by talented local artisans who combine traditional techniques with contemporary designs.
Our next stop is Ollantaytambo, known as the “Living Inca City.” We’ll climb the steps of the Temple of the Sun to admire magnificent views of the valley and well-preserved Inca structures.
At the end of the tour, we’ll return to the city of Cusco. We’ll drop you off in the historic center so you can enjoy the evening dining or walking around the beautiful Main Square.
